I am very sorry that Cara’s life was cut so short. When I found out how sick she was and that she would be going into hospice, I wasnt sure what to say to her. What do you say to someone that you have known since 2nd grade when they are dying? Cara made me feel so at ease with her pragmatic view of the situation and said she had made her peace. Her wanting to help me feel better….I can only imagine what a wonderful nurse she must have been with her caring, kind ways. Blessings to her mom, brother and all those that were fortunate to have her in their lives. I only wish there was more time. Sincerely, Deb Kuchan Eskridge 💗

Offering my deepest sympathies. I worked with Cara at 2 Surgery Centers in Bloomington. She was smart, witty, and truly one of the kindest people I’ve met. She was a fantastic nurse, and touched so many lives through her career. I am so thankful I reconnected with Cara recently and had 2 special visits with her in Dallas. Cara, I will never forget you. You have truly touched my life ❤️
