Canton – Christina M. Taylor, 77, of Canton, passed away at 3:15 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on February 3, 1942 in Decatur, IL to Alexzander and Regina (Fritchyl) Wilson. She married Jackson D. Taylor on December 20, 1967, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2008.

Christina was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alexzander “Sonny” Wilson, and three sisters, Carol Clark, Marge Kriegler, and Anna Waldell.

Surviving is one daughter, Ann (Roque) Moreno of Canton, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Rose Norris and Janet Baxter.

Christina worked in the cafeteria at Jefferson Elementary in Jacksonville and also in housekeeping at the Humane Society in Canton. She was of the Catholic Faith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Memorials can be made to Sedgwick Funeral Homes for Funeral Expenses.     Miss you more and more everyday mom love you to the moon and back…I’m trying my hardest come up with remaining balance so you can get cremation and go be buried with dad and be with him forever…..💔😭
