Deloris J. Fulk

Deloris J. Fulk, 78, of San Jose, passed away at 10:43 AM at her daughter’s residence in San Jose. She was born on August 31, 1941 in Peoria, a daughter of John T. and Freda (Acturburg) McLaughlin. She married Darrell D. Fulk on September 5, 1959 at the Epworth Methodist Church in Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2018.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, one son, Charles A. Fulk, one brother, Thomas J. McLaughlin, and one great-grandchild, Desmond Sedlacek.

Surviving is one daughter, Teresa Hamilton of San Jose; four grandchildren, Nicole (Tim) Sedlacek, Alexander (Kaitlin) Hamilton, Kaitlyn Hamilton, Alicia (Michael) McGinnis; and two great-grandchildren, Mia Grace Hamilton, Liam Michael Sedlacek; one sister, Mary Jane Willis of Prescott, Arizona.

She enjoyed raising her children, and working around the house as a housewife, Deloris and her husband loved being foster parents for many children for 20 plus years.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, where visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Allen Payne will officiate. Burial will be held in Lutheran Cemetery in West Peoria. Memorials can be made to the San Jose Fire Department.
