I am truly saddened to learn of the loss of Misty. Our friendship and sports, all through high school, then our first two years in college was the most memorable. What a charismatic and fun girl, what an athlete, what a beautiful soul. My condolences to Tammy, Jim, Ben and Mason Rest easy my friend.

A childhood friend, neighbor, and playmate. Some of the best memories of my childhood involve Misty and her family. We spent many hours together, playing in the countryside of Sepo and Waterford Township. Riding bikes and mini-bikes; swimming; catching minnows and ice skating at the creek; fishing, mushrooming; sledding and hiking the hills at Dickson Mounds; walking to Sunday school at Waterford Church; picking apples at the orchard; riding “Pam” the pony; tent camping in the backyard; gathering with neighborhood friends for softball, Frisbee, tetherball, and football games; enjoying bonfires and hayrack rides; Halloween parties; doing cartwheels; and catching fireflies. She had a special love for her Barbie dolls and Holly Hobbie. She had an infectious laugh, but a bone-chilling scream when it came to Daddy-Longlegs spiders. She was a strong athlete, gymnast, and a beautiful, fun, loving person. My deepest condolences to her family. Godspeed my friend, may the country roads take you home.
