Norma J. Reid

Norma J. Reid, 87, of Canton, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama passed away at 7:15 PM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington. She was born on January 18, 1932 in Manhattan, New York, a daughter of Charles and Carmen Vega.

Surviving is her children, Richard (Patty) Reid of Canton; James and Travis King; Lillia Curran; two grandchildren, Melissa and Jared, and a beloved niece, Linda Cino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and Joseph, and one sister.

Norma was a homemaker, and of the Catholic Faith, where she served her faith by being a Carmelite Nun for over 40 years.

    Richard, it was sad to read that your mother had passed away. Ron and I enjoyed meals with her at FCM. She and I had lots of conversations about moving to different states and living in the South. She was a beautiful woman and she was so proud of her family.
