Pauline M. “Polly” McDonald

scan_20161115_090632974YATES CITY- Pauline M. “Polly” McDonald, 88, of Yates City, passed away at 3:36 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1928 in Hanna City, a daughter of Harry and Cora Clark Hudson. She married Dean I. McDonald on April 20, 1946 in Hanna City. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death is her parents.

Surviving is her daughter, Pamela (Richard) Ehens of Yates City; two grandchildren, Douglas (Cyndi) Ehens of Crown Point, Indiana; Matthew (Kathy Bukowy) Ehens; Bensenville, Illinois; one great-grandchild, Ryan Ehens of Crown Point, Indiana; one sister, Evelyn Norbom of Washington, and three nephews.

Polly was a homemaker, and attended Faith United Presbyterian Church in Yates City for many years.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, where visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 18, 2016. Rev. Marla B. Bauler will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Trivoli. Memorials can be made to her church, Unity Point Hospice or ELBA/Salem Fire Department.
