Robbie S. (Rogers) Goodwin

Hanna City – Robbie S. (Rogers) Goodwin, 73, of Hanna City, formerly of Princeville, passed away at 1:20 AM on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 10, 1945 in TN to Woodrow and Grace (Bailey) Rogers. She married Ron Goodwin on December 29, 1987 in Peoria, IL, he survives.

Also surviving is one son, Bryan (Michelle) Van Laningham of Princeville; two stepchildren, Kristina (Stan) Halter of Germantown Hills and Timothy (Debra) Goodwin; five grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Josh, Jacie, Aulexandria; one brother; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents.

Robbie retired from Hiram Walkers, worked as a TSA, and also worked as a bailiff for Peoria County. She was a member of the American Legion Post 974 in Bartonville, IL. Robbie participated in the walk for the cure for the past 18 years. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, IL.     So sorry to hear about the passing of such a sweet childhood classmate, friend, and cousin. We and Joann had some good times together before they moved to Illinois.
