Have always remembered Bob and Dortha fondly as my first landlords in Lafayette upon my return to Lafayette from Calif. in 1963-64. I have many, many fond memories of Bob… many gut busting funny.
Sad to learn of Bob’s passing, Selma, Nadine, Nina and I have many fond memories of Bob, Dortha, Denna and Belinda and the Park Ave. / Kossuth corner for the few years we lived there.
Funny, for a time Stedman’s were in Fla. and we were still in Laf…. and then that reversed for a time and we are now in Fla. I didn’t know of the move to Ill.
Our thoughts are with all of you and of those too… in the Stedman family, that we also had briefly knew.

I know that Bob will be missed by all, but I also know that he is in Heaven rejoicing with his Lord.
Bob was a dedicated employee and friend since the 1950’s when he started at Lafayette Glass. Always cheerful and helpful with the customer. Then there was the times we would go fishing on the Wildcat Creek and mushroom hunt in the spring with his pal Dale Rose. Those were the days he certainly enjoyed as much as I did.

Rest in peace Bob, we loved you.
